About Spring Admits

Welcome to UCF! My name is Abby Riggenbach and I am the Coordinator of Academic Advising Services for the Student Academic Resource Center (SARC). What that means for you is that I will be your academic advisor for your entire first year here at UCF (Spring 2010, Summer 2010 and Fall 2010).

You were assigned to SARC as your advising office for a few reasons:

    1. You are starting at UCF in the spring semester
    2. You have fewer than 44 credit hours coming in
    3. You are considered to be a FTIC (First Time in College) student since this is your first semester at UCF

At SARC, it is our mission to provide you with the resources necessary to succeed at UCF and to become the Ultimate Knight. We do this by providing one-on-one academic advising, offering a reserved section of a Strategies for Success course just for our spring admitted students, and getting you connected to the campus and all that UCF has to offer.

I am very excited that you have chosen to become a UCF Knight and am looking forward to working with you throughout your first year at UCF.

Go Knights!
