The Student Academic Resource Center (SARC) provides high-quality academic support programs, including tutoring and supplemental instruction, retention programs, academic advising programs, and various other academic programs and services. SARC serves as a means for retention of students and is an important element in enabling UCF students to achieve their academic goals.
SARC provides undergraduate students with free individualized and small-group tutoring in accounting, astronomy, biology, chemistry, physics, and statistics.

We are now hiring Peer Tutors for the 2014 Summer. This position is 4-10 hours per week, with positions available for Summer A, Summer B and Summer C.
Peer Tutors are responsible for leading a minimum of 4 hours of tutorial time per week for a specific course, communicating with course professors, participating in monthly training sessions, creating study hand-outs for students and participating in SARC events.

We are now hiring peer mentors for the 2014 Summer B term for UCF's Access Program, including the Pegasus Success Program and SOAR Program. This position is a 15-20 hour per week position from June 2014 through August 2014.
Peer mentors for the Access Program will be responsible for meeting one-on-one with freshman students once per week for 30 minutes per student, assisting students during certain events, facilitating college success skills and communicating with Access staff members (please see attached PDF for more details).
